Wellbeing and Inclusion Plan

The Barossa Wellbeing and Inclusion Strategy is the foundation for how Council supports community health and wellbeing.
It helps guide initiatives and projects that aim to build a healthier, stronger and more connected community. The Barossa Wellbeing and Inclusion Strategy is built on four connected priorities, all informed by community voice and aligned with the Community Capitals Framework.
The Community Capitals Framework recognises the different strengths and resources that make communities thrive.
As the lead, The Barossa Council is helping bring people together to support community wellbeing. By working with local groups and partners, Council is leading a shared, long-term approach that will be delivered through the Barossa Wellbeing Network.
This approach is brough to life through the Barossa Wellbeing Network, with the support of key partners including University of South Australia, Preventative Health SA and Enhance Barossa Mental Health.
