About the Barossa Wellbeing Project

Wellbeing Alliance

Through the Barossa Wellbeing Project, The Barossa Council is building a shared, long-term approach to community wellbeing.

Collaborating with community and partners, the Barossa Wellbeing Project is led by Council and brought to life through the Barossa Wellbeing Network where a collective of people whose knowledge and expertise help ensure priorities are informed, effective and community led before being actioned.

The Network brings people together to create real impact in the community. This is achieved through Lifespan Action Groups, Council Collaborative Partner, Wellbeing Alliance, Partners Circle and Advisory Groups.

Wellbeing Hub Structure

The Barossa Council provides the foundation through governance, shared resources, capacity building and evaluation, helping organisations and community partners work together to deliver inclusive programs, services and opportunities across the region.

The Barossa Wellbeing Project brings together partners, programs and community initiatives to strengthen health, wellbeing and inclusion across the region.

Guiding how we support wellbeing across the Barossa.

The upcoming Wellbeing and Inclusion Plan will be the foundation for how Council supports community health and wellbeing. It provides a clear, long-term direction for initiatives and projects that aim to build a healthier, stronger and more connected community.

Shaped by community voice and grounded in the Community Capitals Framework, the Plan will be built on four connected focus areas that guide decision-making, investment and action across the region.
